Hanami, the first Zombuki, was made on the request of a good friend of mine, Emily. Hanami’s inspiration is the tradition of flower viewing in Japan which takes place every spring. Hanami visited in April of 2008 and was refurbished, emerging as Hanami 2.0 in time for her first birthday. She was also featured in the January/February 2008 issue of Haute Doll Magazine.
